Who wouldn’t love to have a custom designed space dedicated to their creative hobbies? Well that’s exactly what we helped one homeowner with in Loudon, New Hampshire.
For this project, the client presented with a home office/craft room in need of a solution. For years she made due: organizing her supplies as best she could, compromising on space to accommodate this hobby or that. Our goal was to create a suitable work-zone easily adapted to various crafts, maximize storage, and allow for a desktop computer as well.
The closer we evaluated her existing space, we determined the windows, closet, and baseboard heat complicated the possibility of built-in units. We then took a closer look at the adjacent guest room where we were able to develop a solution to fit all her needs. The end result features painted inset cabinetry, roll-out trays, and undercabinet task lighting in a neutral palette.
